Great time with girlfriend… eventually:
Life’s so hard and hectic in this side of planet! Even if squeezing time to spend with girlfriend, it’s so hard to do so.
This is the food we enjoyed in tea time today in Japanese food chain Italian Tomato. Don’t be fooled by its name, it has nothing about anything Italian. Instead, its decoration is in style of food chain selling western food in Japan, and it is infamous of its real delicious cakes. Local people mostly order cakes in this chain, regardless lunch, tea or dinner. My girlfriend was a big fan of everything Japanese, so this is one of her favourite.
You know due to recent Japanese tsunami and nuclear disaster, people here are so scary of anything from Japan. Even if my girlfriend is a big fan of everything Japanese before the incident, she now keep asking if there’s any harmful ingredient from Japan.
Well, I eventually found some of the physics and chemistry I studied in college is useful - once the goods got infected by those radioactive things leaked, they remain radioactive (a.k.a toxic) throughout the life us and then our next generation and even the generation following the next! Also, you may never know if the radioactive food is being indirectly added to things we eat, for example, the infected milk or dairy products maybe turned to cheese ot cream and then exported it, so I tend not to think about it too much.
Instead of worrying, I prefer enjoying the food and precious moment with my girlfriend.
